The climbing season in Pakistani Himalaya is at its peak right now, and a big summit day over on K2 proves it.
According to Explorerweb, 28 people reached the summit of K2 on July 31, a few of them climbing without oxygen.
That’s a lot of people climbing the second-tallest mountain on earth.
The climbers without 02 were Polish national Adam Bielecki, Iranian Azim Ghaychesaz, Austrian Christian Stangle, and Spaniard Oscar Cadiach.
On the first of August, Slovak national Peter Hamor and Czech national Pavel Bem hit the summit without oxygen, too.
Exweb posted a video along with details of the climbs here.
