Pikes Peak International Hill Climb kicks off in about a week and Audi has released a teaser featuring what appears to be an RS5.
Audi posted the teaser on its Facebook page with the above picture of the RS5. Besides posting a video of Audi’s history with the race, typically with drivers racing Sport Quattro S1s, there is not a lot of information about what they’ll be debuting during Pikes Peak 2012.
“The 90th Pikes Peak International Hill Climb kicks off in just one week and to pay homage to our record-breaking past here, we’ve got a surprise in store for you,” according to the Facebook post. “In the meantime, here’s a history lesson from the Audi Sport Quattro S1…”
Walter Rohl will return to Pikes Peak driving the original Audi Sport Quattro S1, the car in which he set a Pikes Peak record 25 years ago.
