Climbing Goes Digital With an iPad Edition

For all you iPad-toting climbers out there, we have some news that should make you stoked.

Climbing just announced a new edition available for iPad.

The first edition, which is Climbing’s photo annual, features tons of photos, topos, instructional slideshows, video, and more.

“We’re super-psyched to offer the first climbing magazine that really takes advantage of the iPad’s interactivity,” said Dougald MacDonald, editor in chief of Climbing in a press release. “The iPad is really an entirely new way of publishing. It’s a lot of extra work to produce these editions, but we think it’s worth it.”

Single issues of the iPad edition of Climbing are $3.99. Subscriptions are available for $1.99 an issue or $14.99 a year.
