The are long-form travelers and then there is Gunther Holtorf, a man who took off from Berlin in 1989 with his wife and who has traveled in his Mercedes Benz G Wagen ever since.
His wife Christine passed away recently, but Gunther carried on the tour, since she requested that he continue traveling.
The Mercedes Benz G Wagen has more than 500,000 miles on it–the equivalent of rounding the globe 20 times.
