Jeremy Jones Talks Further and Backcountry Snowboarding

Jeremy Jones, a professional backcountry snowboarder, has finished filming and producing Further, the second part of his documentary trilogy.

Deeper, Further, Higher, the respective names of the three documentaries comprising the series, follow Jones and his companions as they hike deep into the backcountry to snowboard some of the most pristine, if not dangerous, lines in the mountains.

Here is a brief synopsis of Further, which is presented by O’Neill, on the TetonGravity.com, the name of the production company that helped put Jones’s dream to film:

“Award winning producers Teton Gravity Research are pleased to announce Further, the second installment in the Jeremy Jones snowboard movie trilogy, Deeper, Further, Higher, presented by O’Neill.

Further will explore some of the world’s most remote mountain terrain while continuing Jones’ mission to camp deep in the backcountry and on the summits of unridden lines to access nearly vertical spines and wide-open powder fields. Join Jeremy and his crew as they push their minds and bodies Further.

Locations: Japanese Alps / Atomfjella Mountains, Norway / Karwendel Range, Austria / Wrangell Mountains, Alaska / Sierra Mountains, California.”

In addition, Jones did a recent interview with Wend Magazine, which was posted to their blog.
