The Sierra Club published this National Parks Map, making it look like a subway system.
While it’s not geographically to scale or anything, it is kind of interesting–perhaps even helpful–in determining where the U.S. National Parks lay more heavily in the United States.
I could imagine, for example, that it would be helpful if you were planning a road trip in which you wanted to hit a several national parks. Traveling the yellow line up California and Alaska would be a great way to go!
