A few weeks ago we wrote about Remains of a River, a web video series that follows two recent college graduates who took the Colorado River from Source to sea.
The journey had them traveling from Wyoming to the Gulf of California in Mexico, a full 1,700 miles of River System. It took them several months and the result was an eleven-page report that chronicles their day-to-day journey along with expounding on some of the biggest environmental problems facing the Colorado River.
In addition, their journey gave birth to the Remains of a River documentary series, which is airing on NRS’s Souls+Water, a growing film showcase that plays a lot of cool river-related documentaries.
Well, today, NRS posted the fifth episode. It’s called Remains of a River: Episode 5 – Desert Sea. In it, the adventurers, Will Stauffer-Norris and Zak Podmore, have conquered the entire Green River (one of the headwater tributaries to the Colorado) and empty out into Lake Powell.
